Frank Castle is living off the grid in Little Sicily, haunted by hallucinations of his deceased family and army comrades. Crime lord Ma Gnucci places a bounty on Castle, drawing numerous criminals to hunt him. Castle is forced back into action, defending civilians and confronting thugs, including avenging the death of a dog killed by a criminal named Mickey. Despite opportunities to kill Ma Gnucci, Castle prioritizes protecting innocent people, ultimately returning to his Punisher persona and patrolling the streets.
