This document is open to every reader on every plan. Availability tells you what a plan includes; it does not decide what you may read.

What it is for
An audit tells you a page is wrong. It cannot tell you whether anybody visits that page. Linking a Google Analytics property you already own lets a finding be read against real traffic, which is how a list of thirty problems becomes an order of work: the broken canonical on your most visited page is not the same size of problem as the same fault on a page nobody has opened this year.
EN
How to use it
Connect the Google account that can already see the property. This platform never creates, renames or deletes a property: it lists what your own account has access to.
Discover the properties, then link one to a project. Zero properties found has two causes with two different fixes - no Analytics account at all, or an account this identity cannot see - and only Google's answer separates them, which is why the result is shown rather than assumed.
Read traffic when you want it. Each reading is one request against your own Google quota, taken on demand.
Unlink whenever you like. The link is a reference, not a copy: nothing about your Analytics data is held here.

Reading the result
A reading is held for your browser session and shown once: it is your business data, and it would go stale anyway, because Google keeps attributing events for up to forty-eight hours after they happen. Treat a figure taken today for yesterday as provisional. Coverage tells you which of your projects have a property linked at all, which is the question worth asking before comparing any two of them.

What it cannot tell you
It reads; it does not audit. Nothing here changes a score or a finding, and no Analytics figure is written into a report as evidence. It is read-only against your Google account by design, so it cannot repair a misconfigured property for you. And traffic is not importance: a page nobody visits may still be the one a search engine judges your site by.
EN
What it keeps
The link between a project and a property, and the credential for the Google account you connected, encrypted. The readings themselves are never stored: they live in your session and are gone when you sign out.
