What it is for
Crawls many pages of a verified project instead of one, and audits each page with the same evidence-backed controls as a single audit. It is for the questions a one-page audit cannot answer: which templates repeat the same defect, where canonicals and redirects cluster, and whether what is crawled agrees with what is meant to be indexed.

How to use it
Open Deep Audit and choose the verified project under "Start a crawl".
Choose the "Crawl scope": Articles and key pages, the Sitemap closed set, or the Full site. For the sitemap scope you may give a site-relative "Sitemap path"; the default is /sitemap.xml.
Choose an available crawl engine and start the crawl. It runs in visits rather than in one go, so leave the page open or return to it later.
Open the finished report and work from the clusters and the failed controls down to single pages.

Reading the result
The report states the run state, engine, scope, completion and duration, then how many pages were audited out of the set, the mean score and the quality coverage. Passed, warning and failed controls are counted across pages, and clusters show repeated canonicals, redirects and crawl depth.

What it cannot tell you
A crawl visits what it can reach inside the chosen scope and the page limit of your plan; pages behind a login, a form or a script-only link are not reached. The sitemap scope follows exactly the unique same-host addresses the sitemap lists and never follows page links. A crawl counts as one audit, however many pages it reaches.

What it keeps
Each crawl and its per-page results are kept with the crawl, so a finished report can be reopened and compared with the next one for as long as the project exists.
